Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
- The hours for this position are during regular operating hours:
Monday through Friday from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm - This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the CEO and the corporate sales force.
- The ideal candidate must be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all employees within the organization, and able to respond to business needs in an effective and timely manner.
Essential Functions
- Calendar Management with effective prioritization, resolving scheduling conflicts as necessary
- Meeting coordination: organizing recurring and ad hoc meetings, conference room coordination (A/V set up, catering etc.) and materials production (printing, copying etc.)
- Professional interaction with internal and external staff members, visitors, customers and vendors
- Travel arrangements and coordination, ensuring adherence to travel policy
- Management of correspondence and expense reports
- Preparation and editing of presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence and general communications
- Management and coordination of interview scheduling and on-boarding of new hires
- General administrative support: including phone coverage, emails, filing (paper and electronic), photocopying, processing invoices, etc.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or High School diploma with 2-3 years of professional experience
- Must be professional, polite, well-spoken and courteous; must demonstrate a calm and reasonable demeanor in all situations
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have effective problem solving skills, be proactive and solution-orientated
- Must have excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Docs, familiarity of Customer Relationship Management applications is a plus (e.g. Salesforce.com)
- Technologically savvy and open to using technology
- Some local travel may be required

Managing Sales Director
Position Summary
The US Managing Sales Director (MSD) is responsible for Potomac Labs’ sales force, and for providing consistent and uniform direction regarding the execution of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Essential Functions
- The MSD is responsible (through his/her regional sales force) for the effective and compliant promotion of Potomac Labs’ products to health care providers within the US marketplace.
- Responsible for the US revenue sales goal on an annual basis, and builds a long term, scalable, and sustainable business through compliant means.
- The MSD will also manage projects involving cross-functional collaboration, communication, and activities.
- Responsible for the recruitment and development of field force personnel within the region, including career progression and dealing appropriately with performance below expectation.
- Responsible for ensuring the optimal allocation of resources across the US region.
- Responsible for maintaining effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.
- Formulate and direct the implementation of the US sales action plan.
- Perform ad-hoc special projects to support specific business needs requested.
- Oversee the proper use by the region of corporate resources and assets, and perform all activities within budget.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Bachelor's level degree
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, and 2 years managerial/leadership experience, OR demonstrated career progression within the industry, including management development
- Strong communications and human relations skills
- Demonstrated selling skills, leadership skills, training/coaching/development abilities and business acumen
- Strong initiative, judgment and decision-making ability
- The ability to plan, organize, and adapt to market changes
- Strong business information systems knowledge, computer literacy, and analytical ability, as well as utilization of customer relationship management applications
- The ability to travel extensively throughout the territory
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record

Sales Representative
Position Summary
Introduce our product line and services to existing and potential customers, and actively seek out new business, including switching accounts to Potomac Labs products where competitive products are being used.
Essential Functions
Responsible for promoting, selling, and maintaining the Potomac Labs product line to:
» hospitals and their associated clinics
» ambulatory surgery centers
» teaching hospitals
» federal and military hospitals
» managed health care facilities
» all other medically-focused purchasing organizations within the territory
- Maintain existing accounts and build new business by forging strong relationships.
- Meet all quarterly sales objectives for Potomac Labs.
- Maintain up-to-date call records for hospitals, surgeries centers and other field contacts.
- Be prepared to provide reports to management that accurately portray changing market conditions within the territory that can affect the sales of Potomac Labs’ products and competitive products.
- Report new competitive activities and products to the Managing Sales Director and senior management.
- Ensure that customers are kept informed about Potomac Labs’ products, prices, promotions and policies through personal calls, meetings and correspondence.
- Attend sales meetings, conventions and training programs as required by the Managing Sales Director.
- Maintain and utilize product and industry knowledge, as well as highly effective selling skills in order to influence targeted health care professionals to support the use of Potomac Labs cleaning solutions.
- Execute brand strategies to ensure consistent company sales and marketing messages.
- Analyze territory information to optimize client calls. Create Pre-call plans to meet client needs and provide value during calls. Build discussion around client needs and opportunities. Foster client network development and communication. Have accurate and timely follow-up discussions with customers.
- Performs all Company business in accordance with mandated government, client and corporate regulations (e.g. HIPPA, OSHA, etc.) and procedures.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior sales experience with demonstrated successful sales track record
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Mail and Customer Relationship Management applications
- Ability to travel (may include overnight travel)
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
- Familiarity in the territory geography is strongly preferred
